It seems only fitting that Nike’s film featuring NBA champion Kevin Durant claim a prize of its own: a Clio Award for Editing.

Mike Sobo crafted the fiery and motivational film that illuminates the dedication required to be the MVP, driving home a powerful mantra: Rise. Shine. Grind. Again—words that pack a punch across the screen thanks to graphics out of Black Hole.

Depicting the constant and repetitive nature of training to be the best, the spot builds to move as quickly and intensely as Durant is on and off the court, giving viewers an incredible on-screen sports epic.
