Hank Corwin snags Oscar nod for “VICE”

The buzz for Vice has been non-stop since the film hit the big screen, and Lost Planet founder Hank Corwin’s work for the film is no exception: he was just nominated for an Oscar in Film Editing.

The film marks Hank’s second collaboration with writer-director-producer Adam McKay—the two perviously worked together on The Big Short, which earned him his first Oscar nomination for Film Editing. Much like The Big Short, Hank’s editing brings an added layer of action to each scene of the colorful snapshot of history depicted in Vice.

In addition to his Academy Award nomination for Vice, Hank also scored Best Editing nominations for both BAFTA and an ACE Eddie. Check out the rest of Hank’s reel here.
