“Say no to no and get business done,” is the name of the game of American Express’ latest campaign out of Ogilvy, cut by our own Charlie Johnston.
The humorous take on American Express OPEN, the small business-oriented division of American Express, which is all about saying yes to innovative and creative ideas. To bring life to that vision, director Matt Aselton filmed various vignettes of entrepreneurs pitching their ideas and hitting the usual criticisms and out-and-out nos. Contrasted with American Express’ ‘yes’ approach, Charlie Johnston cut together the series of spots that premiered last month online, and are sure to entertain and inspire your next great business idea.
