Spreading the holiday magic for HP Spectre x360

Amanda Perry and Andrea MacArthur lent their editing expertise for HP’s “Reinvent Giving” campaign

The latest spots from “Keep Reinventing,” HP’s campaign for the Spectre x360, brings holiday joy to the big city setting. The three new spots for “Reinvent Giving” out of BBDO San Francisco were edited by Perry and MacArthur and directed by Sara Dunlop, who was selected through Free the Bid, an industry wide effort to level the playing field for female directors, according to AdAge. The spots were also recently featured on AdWeek.

“Create Wonder in Your World” tells the charming story of a woman using her HP Spectre x360 to coordinate a magical puppet show for her young neighbor. The touching ad makes a big city feel small and personal through the use of technology and compassion.

In “A Gift So Thin You Can Hide It Anywhere,” a woman shows off the convenience of the Spectre x360’s size as she hides it in a stack of books so she can give it as a surprise gift later, and in “A Little Privacy is Just a Button Away,” she quickly hides a tab to keep her gift search away from the prying eyes of her partner.

This isn’t Lost Planet’s first involvement with the “Keep Reinventing” campaign. MacArthur cut three spots for “Reinvent My Story,” with “Not Alone,” “Intern,” and “Handwriting,” while Kim DubĂ© lent her skill to “Model,” “Dog,” and “Cat.”
