Kenji Yamauchi’s “Goodnight” shortlisted for 2018 Shots Awards

The power of film to capture both the heartbreaking and touching sides of reality is unstoppable, and Kenji Yamauchi’s “Goodnight” shows just how powerful the medium can be—so much so that the piece was added to the Shots Awards shortlist for Charity/PSA Campaign of the Year.

Humbling and profound, the spot, which is centered around a father and his unwillingness to let ALS keep him from time with his daughter, is part of the ALS Association’s larger campaign called “The Reality of ALS” and features films cut by both Kenji and Charlie Johnston.
